INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC – 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for machine set-up, troubleshooting equipment failures, and performing repair and preventative maintenance services ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial environment, exhibit a strong work ethic, and be a solid team player.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test performance of electromechanical assemblies using test instruments such as electronic volt meters, power meters and process instrumentation.
  • Provide emergency breakdown response, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and continuous improvement in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Perform work and maintain work area in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
  • Continuous improvement in areas of safety, professional development, and adhering to company policies.
  • Must have good working knowledge of all aspects of electrical controls, mechanical assembly, plumbing, heating and ventilating.
  • Read and interpret electrical control and mechanical assembly drawings, as well as service manuals for all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical problems associated with production and facility equipment in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to repair equipment back to service during emergency breakdowns.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
  • Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical assembly drawings and technical documentation.
  • Must have excellent communications skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work overtime if necessary and be flexible and reliable.
  • Some boiler experience is a plus.

Supply Chain Manager
Come join our 100% Employee Owned Company! We seek a Supply Chain Manager for our Specialty and Aquatics Division located in Mesquite TX. The primary responsibility is to implement and execute all Supply Chain processes for the Division. Specifically, you will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, and equipment used by the Division. This Division at Fritz Industries is growing and requires an experienced Supply Chain professional to oversee and maintain purchasing, planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Production Planning: Work daily with our Production Planner to understand the required materials for manufacturing.
  • Purchasing. Solely responsible for material requirement planning necessary to fulfil the production plans. Negotiate with vendors the best possible prices and services for material to meet our quality specifications. Continue to track the latest pricing to minimize price adjustments and impact to the plant. Work with suppliers to ensure the on-time delivery of goods to the plant.
  • Inventory management: Manage the local inventory with the objective of keeping the optimal stock level to meet production needs.  Works closely with warehouse staff to maintain balanced inventory levels.
  • Configure and Establish MRP: Utilizing the SYSPRO ERP system and in concert with production, sales, and warehouse, setup and maintain stock code parameters to simplify production planning and purchasing.
  • Budgeting process: Contribute to the plant’s budgeting process and monitor Supply Chain costs against the budget through the year.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years supply chain/purchasing experience for a manufacturing company
  • Degree preferred. CPIM a plus
  • Must be able a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Familiar with the concept of end-to-end supply chain, from orders to goods delivered
  • International and national transport knowledge
  • Analytical – proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Solid MRP software experience, SYSPRO experience a plus.
  • Good communication skills and capable to interact effectively and establish positive working relationships both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, with an attitude to teamwork.
