Fritz Industries, Inc. hires Mike L. Kovar as Chief Financial Officer

(Mesquite, TX)- Fritz Industries, a manufacturing, research and development company based in Mesquite, TX recently hired Mike L. Kovar as Chief Financial Officer.

Mike L. Kovar previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Fossil, a global retailer specializing in the design, innovation, and marketing of fashion lifestyle and accessory products. From 2000-2012, Fossil recorded tremendous growth under his guidance. Before his tenure at Fossil, Mr. Kovar served in various senior financial roles at BearCom Group, Inc.

Mr. Kovar is a Certified Public Accountant, serves as a director on the North Texas CFO Roundtable and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the North Texas CFO Forum.

Mr. Kovar is already familiar with the operations at Fritz Industries, having served on the Board of Directors since January of 2011.

The transition is scheduled to occur in Spring 2013.
